The Donegal U20 Ladies were beaten 3-11 to 1-09 by Galway in today’s All-Ireland U20 Ladies Final in Sligo.
Caitlin Fletcher’s second-half goal gave Donegal a glimmer of hope but three first-half goals did the damage as the westerners went in 3-04 to 0-04 ahead at the interval.
Despite the defeat, joint-manager Dessie McNamara says himself and Paul Gillespie are extremely proud of the team.
