There has been online criticism after a car reportedly blocked the slipway in Downings over the Bank Holiday weekend.
A photo of vehicles parked in the yellow box at the slipway was shared on social media in a bid to get the owners to move them.
The post, shared by the Downings Donegal Facebook page, warned that lives were being put at risk because Coast Guard access was blocked.
A similar post was shared by Mulroy Coast Guard, reminding people to keep slipways and berths clear of both cars and boats to ensure emergency access is maintained.
