Four of the seven Donegal beaches placed under swimming restrictions have now had the measures removed.
The EPA issued the temporary advisories on Tuesday due to forecast heavy rainfall, which can result in pollution from surface water run-off.
Downings, Lisfannon, Rathmullan and Portsalon have now been restored to an excellent status.
Restrictions remain in place at Bundoran, Fintra and Lady’s Bay.
The restrictions are due to be lifted across all affected beaches today.
