A parking problem outside Garda houses on the High Road in Letterkenny is being described as a potential safety risk.
Cllr Jimmy Kavanagh says parked cars are blocking residents’ view as they try to leave their homes, meaning they sometimes have to pull onto the road before they can see if it’s safe.
Donegal County Council is now carrying out an assessment, with double yellow lines to be considered if they’re deemed necessary.
Cllr Kavanagh says the problem has become worse in recent times.
