A Donegal TD has told the Dail that at a time when there should to be more investment on bus services buses in Donegal, the opposite is happening.
Speaking on a motion calling for the reversal of plans to increase public transport fares by up to 30%, from next year, Deputy Charles Ward said services are being curtailed in Donegal, and many communities are being left isolated because there’s no reliable integration with local link services.
He also stressed there is a need for more buses in Letterkenny as part of a concerted effort to address what he termed an ‘out of control’ traffic problem.
