
St. Eunan’s have beaten Gaoth Dobhair 2-18 to 1-19 in the Donegal Senior Football Championship Semi-Final at Sean MacCumhaill Park this evening.
Dylan Doogan’s early goal helped Eunan’s into a 1-09 to 0-00 lead after just 15 minutes but Gaoth Dobhair then found their way into the game.
Daire O’Baoil’s penalty brought it back to a five-point game just before the break – at half-time it was the Letterkenny side who led 1-14 to 1-09.
Ciaran Moore’s 35th minute goal was a massive score in the second-half and Eunan’s held on to win by two points despite late pressure from Ronan MacNiallais’ side.
