Arranmore RNLI assist with three calls in five hours

Volunteer crews from Arranmore RNLI responded to multiple calls on Sunday.

The first call arrived at 2:41pm, this was to bring the Northwest Doctor on call to the island to assess a patient.

Returning after leaving the doctor back to Burtonport the crew were called into action again, this time to help with a medical evacuation from Arranmore.

The third call for assistance by the Malin Head Coast Guard was at 7:03pm. This was to assist a fishing boat experiencing engine problems off the coast of Tory Island.

The lifeboat crew escorted the fishing boat safely to Magheraroarty Pier.
