Police in Derry have made three arrests as part of an investigation into a bonfire built at the bottom of Lecky Flyover earlier this summer.
A group began building the bonfire on Lecky Road on August 15th, obstructing the road and causing significant traffic disruption.
Items placed on the bonfire included flags, banners, political material, sashes and football shirts.
One man, aged 23, has been charged with criminal damage, causing material to be deposited on or over a road, and obstruction of a road.
He is due to appear before Derry Magistrates’ Court on November 4th, with the charges to be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
Two other young males arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and related offences have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Police say the investigation remains ongoing.
