Sinn Féin has confirmed it will run four candidates in West Tyrone in next spring’s Stormont Assembly Election.
It’s the first time the party has fielded four candidates in the constituency since 2016, when three of them were elected.
Strabane-based MLA Paul Boggs will be joined on the ticket by West Tyrone MP Órfhlaith Begley, who becomes the latest Westminster MP to announce a bid for a seat at Stormont.
They will also be joined by sitting MLAs Nicola Brogan and Declan McAleer, who will both be seeking re-election.
Three Sinn Féin candidates were elected in the 2022 Assembly Election.
