The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Edward Marshall, Gorteyarn, Carndonagh.
His remains are reposing at his residence.
Funeral from there on Tuesday 6th September at 10.30am to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Carndonagh for requiem mass at 11am.
Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
