People are being urged to protect their property and ensure their homes are as burglar proof as possible.
It follows a number of break-ins and attempted burglaries reported last week in the area between Lifford, Raphoe and Convoy.
Donegal Crime Prevention Officer, Sergeant Paul Wallace, says such incidents are now happening more in the earlier part of the evening, and that will be even earlier after the clocks go back next week………..
