A local Councillor says that overnight flooding in Glenswilly that has torn up a part of the Letterkenny to Glenties road is “shocking”.
Donegal County Council are on the scene, which is near the Glenswilly school, with local reports stating that part of the road has been completely torn up, with pipes also being torn from the ground.
Councillor Donal “Mandy” Kelly says he has brought this issue up to Council executives several times, with commitments made in February that flood mitigation measures would be put in place – but they never were.
