The death has taken place of Máire Clinton (née Shiels), Glassagh, Fanad at Letterkenny University Hospital.
Predeceased by her husband Eamonn, brothers Dorby and John, sister Margaret Friel, nieces Áine Friel and Sheila Friel and nephew Seamus O’Brien.
Deeply regretted by her daughter Ann Marie Poole, sons Martin and Seamus and her loving grandchildren Casey, Ciarán, Órla and Éamonn. Sadly missed by her brothers Danny and Brendan, sisters Bridget McAteer, Sally Gallagher, Grace O’Brien, Angela Blaney, Kate Sweeney, son-in-law Geoff Poole, daughter-in-law Louise Moran, her extended family, neighbours and large circle of friends.

Máire’s remains will repose at her late residence from 10.30am on Thursday January 19th. Rosary at 8pm. Requiem Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church, Fanavolty at 1pm on Friday 20th followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard. House private on the morning of the funeral.
