The peaceful death has occurred of Brendan O’Donnell, Lucan, Glenageary, Dublin and formerly of Manorcunningham.
Brendan died, after a long illness, surrounded by his devoted family, in the kind and loving care of the wonderful staff at Our Lady’s Hospice, Wicklow.
Beloved and cherished by his wife Valerie and son Eoin, he will be profoundly missed. Also lovingly remembered by his son, Brian, his daughters Mary and Nuala, his granddaughter, Petra, his brothers Eugene (Dromore, Letterkenny) and Aidan (Magherabeg, Manorcunningham), nephews, nieces, mother-in-law, sisters-in-law and brothers- in-law. Brendan is also fondly remembered by former colleagues at the Department of Agriculture and by a wide circle of relatives, friends and neighbours.
Brendan is predeceased by his parents Johnny and Rose Anne and his brother, Liam (Manorcunningham).
In accordance with Brendan’s wishes, his body has been donated to medical science and therefore there will not be a funeral. An occasion to celebrate Brendan’s life will be held in the Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel, Killiney, Co. Dublin at 2.00pm on Saturday, 28 January.
