The peaceful death has taken place at Letterkenny University hospital of Samuel Roulston, Drumatoland, St Johnston.
He will be sadly missed by his sister Nan, sister Rebecca, brother-in-law Hugh, nephew John, nieces Patricia and Catherine, wider family circle, neighbours and friends.
His remains will repose at his home from 6pm to 10pm today Friday.
Funeral leaving from there on Saturday at 1.15pm for 2pm funeral service in Ballylennon Presbyterian Church followed by burial in the family plot in St Johnston Presbyterian Churchyard.
House private on the morning of the funeral.
