Gardaí are investigating a criminal damage incident that happened in the Emmet Park area of Castlefin at approximately 1 0’clock on Sunday morning last, April 16th.
A resident was asleep in bed when they heard glass smashing, and it transpired that the two glass panels in the front door of the house had been smashed. A man was seen running from the address and getting into a car as a passenger before leaving the area.
Gardai are appealing to any road users who were in the area and who had a dash cam to make the footage available to Gardaí. If anybody has any relevant information in relation to this
incident, they’re also being asked to contact Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100.
Meanwhile, gardai are also appealing for information in relation to a criminal damage incident that happened at St. Eunan’s Court, Letterkenny between Thursday April 13 th at 7pm and Friday April 14 th at 7am. Between those times a brick was thrown through the glass in the back door of a house.
Entry was not gained to the house.
Again, gardai are appealing to anybody who may have observed any sort of suspicious activity in the area between those times to make contact with Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100.
