A South Donegal Councillor says there’s a need for a concerted effort to address the lack of infrastructure in many parts of Donegal, and in particular, to prioritise areas deemed to be at full capacity.
Cllr Noel Jordan said Mountcharles is a typical example. No development can take place, and that situation is exacerbated by the fact that water and sewage works have been promised for a number of years, but no headway has been made.
He says as a new draft County Development Plan is completed, there needs to be a focus on opening areas up for the provision of new homes and businesses…….
