The death has taken place of Philip Gillespie, The Demesne, Frenchpark, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Leophin, Linsfort, Buncrana, Co Donegal on 18th May 2023, peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Recently pre-deceased by his eldest son Declan. Deeply mourned by his heartbroken wife Anne, son Shane, and daughters, Emma and Janine. Beloved Grandfather to Connor, Ethan, Donnacha, Emily & Eleanor and father-in-Law to Emma & Steven. Cherished brother of Frank, Eileen, John, Dinny, Mary, Annie & Kevin and the late Roseanne, Bridget, William & Patsy. Sadly missed by his sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Philip will lie in repose in The Gibbons Funeral Home, Ballinagare, Roscommon on Saturday evening 20th May from 6 o’clock to conclude with evening prayer at 8 o’clock.
Funeral will arrive to the Sacred Heart Church, Ballinagare on Sunday 21st May, for Mass of the Resurrection at 1pm.
Burial afterwards in Drummin Cemetery.
