Announcing the deaths of Tommy McGuinness of Fairborn OH, USA, formerly Culdaff, Co. Donegal and his loving wife of 63 years, Kay McGuinness of Fairborn OH USA, their final repose postponed by the COVID pandemic.
Tommy was proceeded in death by his parents Annie and Michael, his uncle Father Joe Houghton who helped raise him after his father’s death, his brother Frankie, his sister Mae, and grandson Kerstain. He is survived by his brother Noel of Orange CT, USA.
Kay was proceeded in death by her parents Sophie and Chester Carter, her beloved husband Tommy, brothers and sisters: Bernice, Chester, Paul, John, Lloyd, Calvin, William, Donald, Dorothy, Ruth, baby girl, and Marvin, and her grandson Kerstain Finklea.
Deeply missed by their five children: Anna (Jerry) Finklea, MaryRose (Dave) Tweddell, Michael McGuinness, Colleen (Dean) Slapak, and Jimmy (Laura) McGuinness; they were blessed with seven grandchildren: Ian, Jared, Logan (Sabrina), and Kathryn Finklea, David (Ashley)Tweddell, David (Dauma) Slapak, and Colin McGuinness; and ten great grandchildren: Zander, Rowan, Avi, Avry, Ily, Henry, Leo, Calvin, Dina, and Franny.
Funeral Mass will take place on Monday October 2nd in the St. Mary’s Church, Bocan, Culdaff at 11:00am, followed by the interment of ashes in the adjoining cemetery.
