The death has occurred in the Donegal Hospice of Akie O’Donnell; 13 Willowbrook, Letterkenny and formerly of Crievesmith, Letterkenny.
Reposing at his family home in Crievesmith from 11am to 10pm today, Tuesday.
The wake is open to family and friends.
Funeral Mass tomorrow, Wednesday at 12 noon in St Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny with burial afterwards in New Leck Cemetery.
