A man has been charged in connection with an arson attack at a house in Derry during which three dogs died.
The 36 year old is due to appear at Derry Magistrates Court this morning charged with three counts of criminal damage, three counts of assault on police, burglary and arson endangering life with intent.
The blaze broke out at the property in the Meadow View Crescent area of Derry on Sunday evening.
