The peaceful death has occurred on 23rd September 2024, at the Foyle Hospice, Derry of Brian Gillespie, late of 6 Donal Casey Court, Derry and formerly of Oakfield, Galliagh and Buncrana.
Beloved son of the late Eva and Tom, loving brother of Mary and the late Colm and Pauline and a cherished uncle to all his nieces, nephews and grandnieces.
Dearly loved and will be sadly missed in Derry and Buncrana by his large circle of friends who looked out for him, as he did for them.
Brian will be reposing at Bradley & McLaughlin’s Funeral Home, 31 William Street, on Tuesday 24th September from 2:30pm to 4:30pm and from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
Funeral leaving there on Wednesday 25th September at 9:30am to St. Eugene’s Cathedral for Requiem Mass at 10:00am.
Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery.
