Gardaí in Donegal investigating the discovery of a man’s body in Killybegs yesterday have arrested a man.
The man who was arrested this morning is in his sixties, and is being detained at a Garda Station in the county.
Gardai say their investigation’s are continuing.
The deceased man has been named locally as Eddie Friel, who was in his sixties and lived alone in the house where his body was found.
Donegal County Council Cathaoirleach Cllr Niamh Kennedy is from Killybegs.
