Pope Leo XIV calls for peace in Ukraine and Gaza in first Sunday blessing

Pope Leo the Fourteenth has held his first Sunday blessing since being named the head of the Catholic Church.

The Pontiff appeared in front of crowds in St Peter’s Square, where he delivered the Regina Coeli.

In his address, he prayed for “no more war” and called on world powers to do all they can to achieve peace in Ukraine and Kashmir:
