Tánaiste Simon Harris has committed to applying more pressure to the Lebanese Government to see justice for the family of a Donegal soldier who was killed while on a peacekeeping mission.
Private Sean Rooney was shot and killed when his convoy came under fire in 2022.
The commitment came following a question from Deputy Catherine Callaghan, who served in Lebanon during her time as a member of the Irish Defense Forces:
