The peaceful death has taken place on Sunday 15th June 2025 at Letterkenny University Hospital of Seán Grant, Moneymore, Newtowncunningham F93 H983.
He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Mary, sons Michael (Laura-Ann), John (Elaine), Kevin (Orla), Anthony (Melanie) and Liam (Éadáoin), daughters Kathleen and Rita, grandchildren, sisters Máighread McGonagle (Carndonagh) and Mary Grant-Folan (Galway), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.
Seán is predeceased by his parents Michael and Brigid, brother Liam, sister Maeve Doherty (Tipperary), grandchildren Aaron and Amelia, and their mother Brenda.

Seán’s remains will repose at his late residence on Wednesday 18th June from 10am to 10pm with Rosary at 9pm.
Funeral at 11am on Thursday 19th June in All Saints Church, Newtowncunningham which can be viewed live on www.churchservices.tv/newtowncunningham. Interment afterwards in St. Columba’s Church Cemetery, Drumoghill.
