The peaceful death has taken place at Altnagelvin Hospital 4th August 2025 of Phyllis McDermott (née O’Kane), 45 Brae Head Road, Nixon’s Corner, Derry.
May she rest in peace.
Beloved wife of the late Hughie.
Much-loved mother of Martin, Ciaran and Darren.
Dearly loved mother-in-law of Donna, Siobhan and Sharon.
Loving granny of Sarah, Ronan, Caolan, Shay, Cathal, Megan and Patrick.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of her wider family circle, friends and neighbours.
Phyllis’ remains will be reposing at her late home 45 Brae Head Road, Nixon’s Corner this evening Monday (August 4th) from 6:30 p.m.
Funeral leaving her home on Wednesday (August 6th) at 9:15 a.m. for Requiem Mass in St. Columba’s Church, Longtower at 10 a.m.
Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.
