The unexpected death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Edward (Ned) Boyd of Brinalack, Gweedore.
Predeceased by his mother Sarah, and son-in-law Dessie Mc Fadden.
Sadly missed by his daughter Sarah-Ann, sons; Mark (Grainne), Eamonn (Rosanne) & James (Leanne), brother Frank, aunt Mary Ferry, all his grandchildren and extended family, neighbours & friends.

His remains will repose at Roarty’s Funeral Home, Derrybeg (F92 DN4X) today (Wednesday September 10th) from 2pm until rosary at 8pm.
Removal afterwards to his son Mark’s residence (F92 PX24) in Brinalack to be waked on Thursday September 11th from 11am until rosary at 8pm.
House private after the rosary and on the morning of the funeral.
Funeral Mass will take place on Friday September 12th in St. Colmcille’s Church Knockfola at 11am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
