The death has occurred at the Donegal Hospice of John Grant, 1 St. Oran’s Oaks, Buncrana.
John will be sadly mourned and forever missed by his loving wife Bernie, his cherished daughter and sons Olivia Donaghey (husband Eugene), Kevin (wife Emer), Martin (wife Philly) and Adrian (wife Aoife).
He will be sadly missed by his brothers and sister Michael, Pat and Kathleen O’Doherty.
Predeceased by his brother Bill. Sadly missed by his grandchildren, nieces, nephews, wider family circle, friends and neighbors.

John’s remains will be reposing at his home on Saturday, 18th October from 12 noon, where you are all welcome to pay your respects.
Removal from there on Monday morning, 20th October at 9.40am to St. Mary’s Oratory, Buncrana for Requiem Mass at 10.00am followed by interment in St. Mary’s Graveyard, Cockhill.

The house is private on the morning of the funeral.
