The death has taken place at St James’s Hospital, Dublin of Charles Doherty, Tallaght, Co. Dublin and formerly of Creggan Road, Derry, surrounded by his loving family on 7th November 2025.
Charles will be sadly missed by his wife Majella, sons Matthew and Niall, daughter Amy, son-in-law Niall, and daughters-in-law Michelle and Lisa and by his beloved grandchildren, Yari, Lily and Charlotte.
Predeceased by his sister Bridgeen and his brother John.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by brothers and sisters, Joseph (Una) – Greencastle, Michael (Kay) – Greencastle, Kathleen (Gerry) – Greencastle, Mary – Canada, Seamus (Dolores) – Muff, Gabriel – Burnfoot and Raymond – Moville, extended family and loyal friends.

Reposing at his home between 5pm and 7pm on Tuesday 11th November.
Removal from his family home on Wednesday morning, 12th November to arrive at St. Mary’s Priory, Main Street, Tallaght for Funeral Mass at 11.00am.
Burial afterwards in Bohernabreena cemetery.
