The peaceful death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital on Friday 16th January 2026 of Christy McGinley, 1A St. Eunan’s Terrace, Raphoe.
Deeply missed by his nieces and nephews, cousins and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.
Christy is predeceased by his parents Joseph and Mary Jane, sisters Marion O’Donnell and Celine Sweeney and his brothers Paddy and Charlie.

Christy’s remains will repose at his niece Mary and husband Noel Bonner’s residence, 18 Abbey Villas, Manorcunningham F92 WE20 on Saturday 17th January from 3pm until 10pm with Rosary at 9pm.
Removal from there on Sunday 18th January at 4pm going to St. Eunan’s Church Raphoe to arrive at approximately 4.45pm to repose overnight.
Requiem Mass there on Monday 19th January at 11am with interment afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.
