The death has taken place, January 18th 2026, at Melmount Manor of Dr. Frank Friel Late of 34 Ballycolman Road, Strabane and formerly of Carndonagh.
Beloved husband of the late Benigna (Ben), much loved father of Karen, Frank and Tona, dearly loved grandfather of James, Lucy, Molly, Sophia, Daragh, Cara and Tom and brother of Joan, Helen, Rosemary and the late Anne, Myra and Denis.
Reposing at his daughter Karen Coyle’s home, 17 Carrigullin Road, Strabane (BT82 8PA) on Monday (January 19th) from 5p.m. to 9p.m. and on Tuesday (January 20th) from 5p.m. to 9 p.m.
Funeral leaving his daughter’s home, on Wednesday (January 21st), at 11.20a.m. for Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Melmount at 12 noon.
Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Deeply regretted by his sorrowing son, daughters, grandchildren, sisters and family circle.
Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
