Only 10 days remain to cut hedges – Cllr McClafferty

The public is being urged to cut overgrown hedges and branches on their land before the trimming season ends later this month.

Councillor Michael McClafferty says with only 10 days left, landowners need to be proactive in cutting back foliage that is spilling onto roads and causing obstructions.

He emphasised that responsibility lies with the landowner, not the council, without exception.
