It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Therese Smyth née O’Kelly, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in the gentle care of Rectory Court Care Home, Blackheath, London on 24th February 2026.
Formerly of Derry, Ireland.
May she Rest in Peace.
Beloved wife of the late Len.
Devoted mother of Siobhan, Grainne and the late Francine.
Dearest mother-in-law of Jon and John.
Loving granny of Luke, Sian and Rebecca.
A much loved sister of Declan and the late Sean, Maire, Seamus, Nancy, Dennis and Fr. Frank.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of her nieces, nephews, wider family circle and friends.
Therese’s remains will be reposing at her brother Declan’s residence, 27 Drummond Park from 2pm until 9pm tomorrow, Thursday 5th March.
Funeral leaving from there on Friday 6th March at 9:20am for 10am Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Ardmore.
Burial will take place immediately afterwards in Ardmore Cemetery.
