Truck operators may park up amid soaring fuel prices

Surging fuel prices have been described as a national emergency.

The Irish Road Haulage Association says the situation facing hauliers has intensified in recent days, with operators now under renewed financial pressure.

Hauliers will meet the Transport Minister this morning to discuss the ongoing impact of escalating fuel prices on the haulage sector.
