The death has taken place on 10th April 2026 of Eugene Gibbons, 53 Strangford Park, Foyle Springs, Derry (formerly of Crehennan, Quigley’s Point).
Beloved husband of Marie, loving father of Wendy, Paul, Gavin, Andrew, Michaela and Rachel, father-in-law of Barney, Colleen, Eva, Raichenda, David and Keith, devoted grandfather of Darwen, Reydn, Aodhan, Darcy, Ruairi, Kian, Benjamin, Nathan, Kaleb, Aaron, Logan, Evie and Rylie, son of the late Ellen and John and dear brother of John and the late Margaret, James, Susan, Sarah, Catherine, Mary-Bridget, Daniel, Andrew and Eileen.
Eugene will be reposing in his home, 53 Strangford Park, Foyle Springs, Derry, from 2pm on Saturday April 11th.
Funeral from there on Monday April 13th at 9.30 am for 10 o’clock Requiem Mass in St. Eugene’s Cathedral.
Interment afterwards in the City cemetery.
Family time please from 10 pm to 12 noon.
