With heavy hearts, we announce the loss of our beloved mother, Mary Doogan, at her home in Perth, Scotland.
Mary died peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, 14th May, 2026.
A native of Donegal, she frequently returned home to Tullyillion, near Burtonport, a place and community that remained deeply important to her throughout her life.
Mary will be sorely missed by her children, her extended family, and her many friends in Perth and Donegal. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy of kindness and compassion which will continue to inspire all those whose lives she touched.
Marys remains will travel to Ireland with her family and will repose in St Columba’s RC Church, Acres, on Thursday, 28th May, 2026, arriving at approximately 6:00pm.
Funeral Mass on Friday, 29th May, 2026 at 11:00am, followed by burial in Belcruit cemetery.
