The untimely passing has occurred of beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Brid McVey (née Hagan), Carland, Kerrykeel, who passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her devoted family.
Her warmth, kindness and gentle spirit touched all who knew her and she will be deeply mourned by her family, friends and the wider community.
Predeceased by her cherished parents Patrick and Winnie Hagan, brother Paddy and infant sister Anita.
Brid will be forever loved and sadly missed by her devoted husband Martin; her heartbroken children Sharon (Mark), Damien (Helena) and Martina (Carl); and by her adored grandchildren James Anthony, Anita, Maggie, Brídín, Ava and Fiadh, who brought immense joy and pride to her life.
A loving sister to Cathal, Margaret (John) and Kathleen (Danny), Brid will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many dear friends.
Well known and highly regarded throughout Kerrykeel, Fanad and Glenvar, Brid was a kind-hearted woman whose door and heart were always open, and whose memory will live on in the many lives she touched.
Brid will also be fondly remembered by her cherished ceilí dancing friends.

Reposing at the family home (Carland, Kerrykeel F92 R7W3) on Friday 29th May from 3pm and on Saturday 30th May from 11am until after the rosary, which will be at 9pm both nights.
Funeral mass on Sunday 31st May at 12 noon in St Columba’s Church, Massmount.
Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
