The peaceful death has taken place in Falcarragh Community Hospital of John Gallagher, Meenacrieve, Dunlewey, Gweedore, F92 T9H9.
Predeceased by his parents Paddy and Bridget, sister Breid, brother-in-law Pat, sister in law Mary.
Survived by his brothers Patrick, Seamus & Marion, Simon & Margaret, his sisters Máire & Jack, Sally & Johnny, nieces, nephews and a circle of family and friends.
His remains are reposing at his home in Meenacrieve with wake commencing today, Wednesday, 3rd June, at 2.00pm and again tomorrow, Thursday the 4th at 12 noon with Rosary both nights at 8.00pm.
House private after the rosary and on the morning of the Funeral.
Funeral from there on Friday the 5th June for 11.00am Requiem Mass in Christ the King Church, Gortahork F92 DP86.
Burial afterwards in the adjacent cemetery.
Family flowers only please donations in lieu to Falcarragh Community Hospital care of any family members.
There will be a one-way traffic system in operation to wake house with entry via Dunlewey and exit via Cashelnagore School.
