The peaceful death has taken place in Letterkenny University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family of Eunan Doherty, 15 Mc Neely Villas, Letterkenny, and formerly of 5 Ballymacool Terrace, Letterkenny.
Pre-deceased by his mother Lily, sister May Lynch and brother Hughie Doherty.
Sadly missed by his loving wife Mary, heartbroken sons Gearld (Eileen), Brian, daughters Caroline (David), Fiona (Damien), Carmel (Gareth), Donna (Phelim), 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, sister Phyliss(John), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and good friends.
Reposing at his late residence today Tuesday from 7pm-9pm and Wednesday from 12noon – 9pm.
Rosary both nights at 9pm with family time after the Rosary please.
Funeral Mass on Thursday at 1pm in St Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny with burial afterwards in Conwal Cemetery.
