The death has taken place on July 6th 2026, at Woodmount Nursing Home of Jackie Begley, 217 Ballycolman Estate, Strabane and formerly of 1 Creggan Terrace, Derry.
Dearly loved husband of the late Edweena, much-loved father of Anita (Sean), Dan (Julie), Eileen, Sean (Susy), Jacqueline (Liam) and Keelin (John).
Beloved son of the late Nellie and Patrick Begley and brother of the late Jim, Kathleen, Eileen, Liam, Patsy, Berna, Anne and baby Mary.
Reposing at his home on Monday (July 6th) from 5p.m.to 10p.m. and on Tuesday (July 7th) from 12 noon to 10p.m.
Funeral leaving his home on Wednesday (July 8th) at 9.20a.m. for Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Melmount at 10a.m.
Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Deeply regretted by his sorrowing sons, daughters, fifteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and family circle.
Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
