People are being urged to stay alert as a ‘sophisticated’ new scam targeting Booking.com customers is doing the rounds.
Holidaymakers report receiving Whatsapp messages and emails pushing them to confirm and pay again via a new link or risk losing the booking.
The scam follows a breach on the accommodation website in April, which saw ‘unauthorised parties’ gain access to customers’ details.
