Several incidents were noted by Gardaí in Donegal across a special roads policing operation over the weekend.
Yesterday, the Buncrana Roads Policing unit found a motorist was found travelling at 159km/h in a 100km/h zone in the Newtowncunningham area.
Elsewhere, another motorist was detected travelling at 123 km/h in a speed zone of 80 km/h in the Muff area.
Alongside speed issues two e-scooters were seized on Sunday from two children in the Killea area.
Gardaí are urging parents not to allow children to use e-scooters under any circumstances, warning it is against the law and also highly dangerous.
