Mark English is to be awarded the Freedom of Donegal by Donegal County Council.
The Finn Valley AC man will be bestowed with the county’s top honour following a history-making season that included the European 800m gold and a World Ultimate final appearance.
Mark is the second person associated with Finn Valley to be given the freedom of the county after Patsy McGonagle, the former Irish athletics team manager, who was honoured in 2013.
