Gardaí have launched an investigation after an attempted car break-in in Letterkenny yesterday.
They were alerted shortly after 4pm in the afternoon, following reports of two young people attempting to take a car from a retail outlet car park.
The youths fled the scene empty-handed after being disturbed.
Gardaí have confirmed investigations into the incident are ongoing.
