Victoria Road Derry has reopened following last night’s collision. A 67 year old woman remains in a critical condition in hospital following the crash which happened at around 7.30pm. Police are appealing for witnesses.

The INMO says there was a total of 329 people awaiting in-patient beds this morning, 42 of them at Cork University Hospital, the highest figure in the country.
