The sudden death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Alphonsis (Phonsie) McDermott, Glenagivney, Lecamey.
Predeceased by his Brother Donal.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sister Mary, brothers John and James, his nephew Philip and his wife Edel and their children Leslie, Pj, Mollie, Daniel, David, James, nieces and Nephews, wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Phonsie’s remains are now reposing at the home of his Nephew Philip and Edel’s, 1 Newpark Gardens, Moville, where you are all welcome to pay your respects.
Removal from there on Holy Saturday (April 19th) at 10.10am for 11am Funeral Service in St Columba’s Church, Ballinacrae, Lecamey followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.
Funeral Mass for Phonsie will take place on Monday (April 21st) at 11am in St Columba’s Church, Ballinacrae, Lecamey.
Family time from 10pm to 11am.
