The death has occurred at his late residence of Danny Sharkey, Elaghbeg, Burnfoot. Retired Principal of St Aengus’ N.S., Bridgend and former presenter on Highland Radio.
Predeceased by his wife Máire, daughter Máire and brother John Patrick.
Loving father of Donal, Patrick and John and dear brother-in-law of Breege Hampson.
Deeply regretted by his loving sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and his many friends.
Reposing at Murphy’s Funeral Home, F93PW96 tomorrow, Wednesday July 19th and Thursday July 20th from 4.00pm to 10.00pm and on Friday July 21st from 3.00pm with removal at 6.00pm to St Aengus’ Church, Burt to repose overnight.
Requiem Mass on Saturday morning July 22nd at 11.00am followed by interment in Burt Cemetery.
