The death has occurred of Eileen McGaughey (née McGilloway), 4 Ashbrook Park, Limavady, BT49 0DB and formerly of Ballynally Lane, Moville, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, surrounded by her loving family on 17th January 2026.
Predeceased by her husband Gerard and her sister Sally Cavanagh.
Much loved mother of Geraldine (Shirley).
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sister Mary Kelly, nieces and nephews, wider family circle, friends and neighbours.
Resting in the Arms of Jesus.
Eileen’s remains will repose at her home in Limavady tomorrow, Monday 19th January 2026 from 2.00pm.
Funeral from there on Thursday 22nd January 2026 at 9.45am to Derry Donegal Christian Fellowship, 9 Northland Road Londonderry/Derry for 11.00am, for the Celebration Service of Eileen’s life, followed by interment in Ballybrack cemetery.
Family time from 10.00pm to 10.00am.
Eileen always kept things simple and thoughtful, and to honour Eileen’s wishes, flowers will be from her daughter only, a small reflection of the love they shared every day.
