The peaceful death has taken place at the Donegal Hospice of George McCready, 11 Mill Park, Carrigans (F93K2C2).
Predeceased by his mother Jean, father Robert, sisters Frances, Mamie and Stella, brothers Samuel, Peter, David, Raymond and Alex. George will be sadly missed by his sisters Pamela and Margaret, brothers Thomas, Jim , John and Simon, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and wider family circle.
His remains will repose at his home from 6pm this evening, Monday 26th August.
Funeral leaving from there on Wednesday afternoon, August 28th at 2.30pm for 3pm funeral service in Killea Parish Church, Carrigans followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.
Family flowers only please donations in lieu if desired to the Donegal Hospice care of any family member or Terence McClintock funeral director.
Family time please from 10pm to 11am and on the morning of the funeral.
